Wife cries out after husband brutalize her for failing to swear by 'Juju

A battered married woman has cried out for help after her husband descended on for refusing to swear to a juju to prove her faithfulness.

The woman who is identified as Funmi sent an 'SOS' letter to Emeka Ugwuonye, a Human Rights Lawyer and founder of Due Process Advocates (DPA) for help, said  after her husband brutalised her after she refused to swear before a juju priest.

The woman who has told her story to Ugwuonye via  a series of text message narrated that her husband had accused her of cheating on him with other men and now to prove her innocence after she denied the accusations , the husband insisted that the woman most swear an oat before a juju priest to show she has not been cheating on him.
