MY FIRST DAY IN HIGHER INSTITUTIONS

  I just relocated to ogwash-uku in Delta State ,so as to further my studies , after my secondary school educations . On Monday morning as early as 7:00 am  , I just woke up, I started getting ready so I can get to school on or before 8:00 am , I got to school , I was shocked to see almost all the new students in class already , so i asked a girl in class if they don’t normally do morning prayer as we do every morning in secondary school, she laughed surprisingly and said no ,’’ she said , common it’s higher institutions , they don’t do that here , we both laughed it off .

  I had about four classes straight that day  , I was feeling so tired , so I decided to go get something at the near by shop , as I was walking down to the shop , I quickly remembered I didn’t bring my phone with me , I had left it where I was sitting down carelessly, I ran back so I could get it , unfortunately for me I was unable to find the phone , I asked everyone around they said they didn’t see or take any phone , I was devastated at that point cus I just came to the school for the first time and I already lost my phone , it was a bad day for me , I was going home angry and tired. I wondered if that’s how higher institutions work , I was so bitter but then I learnt my lessons .

My first day in higher institutions was not interesting, but I learnt something important that will help me through out my stay here .
